The General Traffic Department and the Rescue Police Department documented have issued a total of 26,430 traffic violations, arrested 46 violators, and handed over 10 individuals to the General Administration for Drug Control.
According to statistics covering the period from September 30, 2023, to October 3, 2023, during the traffic campaigns, 49 vehicles and 11 motorcycles were confiscated and taken to the MOI garage. Additionally, 11 individuals with outstanding warrants were arrested in connection to various cases, reports Al-Rai daily.
Furthermore, the General Traffic Department reported the arrest of nine individuals whose residency had expired, two individuals in an abnormal state, and five individuals lacking valid documentation. One accused person was also referred to the General Administration for Drug Control.
