A 21-year-old Australian woman of Arab origin who works as a teacher in the Ministry of Education jumped to her death from atop the Jaber Bridge.
The woman’s corpse was pulled out of the sea by the Shuwaikh and Al-Salmiya Firefighting Marine Rescue teams and handed over to the Forensics Medicine Department.
A security source told Al-Jarida the woman stopped her car on the bridge and flung herself into the sea below.
The family of the deceased teacher has sought the help of the Capital Governorate CID men to investigate what led the woman to end her life.
