The State Audit Bureau has approved the Moderna vaccine with a value of about KD 24 million, Al Anbaa reported.
Informed sources in the Audit Bureau told the daily that the Bureau stipulated that the Ministry of Health have completed all studies to verify the safety of the vaccine as a third booster dose for recipients of other vaccines.
The sources indicated that the Diwan asked the Ministry of Health to draw up a plan to distribute Moderna vaccine and other vaccines to the Kuwaiti population in order to avoid any waste or accumulation in the stockpile.
