Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Mishaal, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, has stated that the army is fully prepared to confront any challenges.
Brigadier General Khaled Hassan Al-Kandari, the commander of the floating units, disclosed to Al-Rai that Kuwait is actively engaged in procuring ships and boats to enhance its maritime capabilities.
During a gathering hosted by the Italian Embassy to commemorate the visit of the military ship “Francesco Morosini,” Al-Mishaal lauded the robust Kuwaiti-Italian relations spanning various domains. He highlighted the forthcoming plans to fortify the army in accordance with a strategic vision and a well-defined timetable.
Brigadier General Al-Kandari emphasized the collaborative synergy between Kuwait and Italy within the realm of defense.
In a statement to Al-Rai, he confirmed Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to acquire naval vessels and boats aimed at bolstering the nation’s maritime infrastructure.
Assessing the performance of the Kuwaiti naval force, he commented, “Our performance is outstanding, and we consistently engage in joint exercises with our fraternal and amicable nations to continually exchange invaluable expertise.”
