The General Traffic Department announced that today, Saturday, delivery companies should start following the requirements set by the department after the specified deadline has expired. The requirements that were imposed on delivery companies include the mandatory wearing of a uniform and helmet for the driver; placing of the company’s sticker on the delivery vehicles; adhering to same company residency policy for the delivery worker, and prohibiting workers under residency article no. 20 to work in the delivery service. According to Al-Rai, the administration said that legal measures will be applied against violators of the specified regulations.
