Following the verdict issued by the court to disqualify two judges against the background of the case of ‘bribery of judges’ stemming from the money laundering case involving the Iranian Salehi an informed source stated another disciplinary ruling has been issued to disqualify 8 more judges.

A local Arabic daily quoting a reliable source said the disqualification includes judges who were earlier acquitted by the Criminal Court but the Appeals Court overturned that verdict and disqualified 8 more judges.

The source pointed out that these trials are not held publicly, but at the Supreme Judicial Council after being referred to it by the Judicial Inspection Authority.
