The head of the Government Communication Center and the official spokesman for the government, Tariq Al-Muzaram, announced the issuance of an Amiri decree accepting the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmed Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The center stated on its Twitter account today, Thursday, that an Amiri decree was also issued to assign the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah as acting Minister of Defense
He added that the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris, has been assigned the portfolio of the Ministry of Interior (acting), reports Al-Qabas daily.
