ALSAYER Holding Management and Kuwait volunteering experts gathered to remark the involvement and services offered by ALSAYER Volunteers Team established with a name to represent its mission – ‘ALSAYER Always with You’, to meet the needs and requirements of the Kuwaiti community at its best.
Team ‘Always with You’ – Committed to Society
A social gathering was arranged to recognize, and further streamline the efforts of Volunteers Team, specially the recent efforts to create awareness on road safety measures, which reflected their passion and dedication during the holy month of Ramadan. In addition to this, contributions of ALSAYER volunteers’ team also included activities towards cancer awareness, spread message on wellness through marathons, involvement to support the disabled as well as for the empowerment of youth.
The event was attended by Mubarak Al Sayer CEO of AlSayer Holding, Hamad Al Sayer CEO AlSayer Franchising and Vice Chairman of ALSAYER Sustainability Committee, Mr. Farid Al Fawazan representative of Ataa Hub, Dr. Fatima Al Mousawi representative of Spread the Passion Society, Ali Assad and Mr. Ahmad Al-Kandari representatives from the Limitless Sports Team, and Mr. Salah Al-Saif representative of Nahtam Volunteers Group.
Mubarak Al Sayer said, “in current days, the development and civilization of nations are measured by the number of volunteer hours they provide to serve society issues. AlSayer Holding made this into reality by establishing its volunteer team consisting of members from diverse backgrounds who joined together to address the society issues and promote the values of volunteering for the benefit of Kuwait community.
Ramadan Aman campaign for safer roads
“During the Ramadan Aman campaign which aimed at safer roads, around 30 employees from the group volunteered for the campaign, with staff voluntarily assisting distribution of meals before breaking fast at traffic signals, to promote safer and responsible driving. Our employees achieved excellent contribution of around 60 hours of voluntary work within two weeks. The team name “Always with You” reflects the purpose of this team that will be present at any event to serve the community,” said Hamad Al Sayer.
The ceremony was concluded by Eng. Nehad Al Haj Ali Deputy Group Manager ALSAYER Corporate Excellence with the launch of new volunteering efforts through a partnership announced between ALSAYER Holding, Limitless Sports Team and the United Nations of High Commissioner (UNHCR) to support their campaign “2 Billion Kilometers to Safety”. To contribute to the global movement of humanitarian efforts by supporting the refugees to rebuild their lives.
ALSAYER Holding pledged to cover 5000 KM through ALSAYER staff’s, volunteers’ team and well-wishers within two months. We encourage participants to track every steps & movements; and dedicate each kilometer covered through walking, running, cycling, swimming, in solidarity and support for the refugees.
