The Ministry of Health has begun vaccinating people with allergies yesterday at the Vaccination Center for the first time in Kuwait, Al Qabas reported.

Health authorities decided to start vaccinating people with allergies after extensive studies yield the required effectiveness of vaccines in allergy patients with the absence of any unexpected side effects.

Responsible health sources said that allergy patients were among the groups excluded from vaccination, but according to recent studies, it was found that vaccines are safe for their health.

The sources added that the rate of vaccinations is increasing daily due to the increased demand for registration as a result of health awareness, and the availability of vaccines at reassuring rates.

The sources pointed out that the vaccination of allergy patients in the country is a preemptive step at the level of the countries of the region, noting that they are received by doctors and inquiries are made from them regarding the disease history and health status of the references, before vaccinating him. The allergy patients are kept for a period of 15-30 minutes in the waiting hall after vaccination until it is confirmed that there are no side effects.

Sources indicated that coordination took place between the medical teams at the Vaccination Center in Mushrif and the Abdulaziz Al-Rashed Center for Allergy Diseases, to ensure the availability of doctors and specialists to receive patients before giving them vaccinations.
