A sense of anticipation prevails in the political and public circles as they await the formation of the new government. This anticipation follows the Amiri order appointing Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Al-Sabah as the Prime Minister to form the new ministry. Their names will then be submitted to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad for approval.

According to Al-Anba, the formation announcement will adhere to a regular timeline, avoiding haste. This approach is aimed at allowing the development of a cohesive government team capable of effectively navigating the upcoming challenges.

The goal is to ensure sustained performance aligned with the established vision and responsive to national and popular requirements. In relation to the National Assembly session called for by Speaker Ahmed Al-Saadoun, sources suggest it might be postponed.

The government, still in the process of formation, may send an apology for not attending the session, resulting in the session being rescheduled to Jan 16 in accordance with internal regulations and session schedules.

It is noted that Al-Saadoun’s invitation to hold the session is a regulatory step typically taken after the Prime Minister’s appointment.
