The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has highlighted a series of upcoming astronomical phenomena in Kuwait. Specifically, it has been noted that the star Suhail will become visible in Kuwait on Monday, September 4. This event marks the onset of heat refraction, heralding the arrival of cooler temperatures and the advent of autumn. Additionally, the migration of birds typically accompanies this transition.
The center has outlined that the astronomical autumn solstice will take place on September 23 at precisely 9:51 am. The prominent star Suhail is situated at the forefront of the star constellation Al Safina, reports Al-Qabas daily.
It’s worth noting that Suhail is the second brightest star in the sky, surpassed only by Sirius. This luminary holds a position as one of the brilliant giant stars within the Milky Way.
As Suhail makes its appearance, a change in the ambiance of water temperature is anticipated. Simultaneously, there will be an equilibrium between daytime and nighttime hours. By September 30, a sensation of autumnal chilliness will also be experienced.
It’s worth highlighting that the Suhail season presents the advantage of cooler evening temperatures. It’s further noted for its place in the calendar of celestial houses of the sun and the moon, denoted as “Al-Tarfa,” lasting for a span of 13 days. During this period, the weather is typically relatively mild during the nighttime.
