The Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Eng. Mutlaq Al-Otaibi said he plans to accelerate the pace of distribution of housing units, diversify options for citizens, and build more housing for citizens with quality services.
He disclosed this when he toured a number of existing housing projects in the city of Jaber Al-Ahmad, accompanied by the acting Director General of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, Eng. Rashid Al-Enezi, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Al-Otaibi was also briefed on the vertical housing project apartments which are to be handed over to citizens after carrying out necessary maintenance.
Al-Otaibi stressed, during his meeting with the senior officials of the PAHW and the project work team and contractors on the sidelines of his tour of the city, the importance of working to accelerate the mechanism for distributing housing plots within the projects that the PAHW has finished planning and designing, based on directives from the political leadership and the Council of Ministers, with the aim of providing housing care for applicants, and diversify the options available to citizens.
He praised the efforts currently being made within the investment opportunities that are being implemented in Jaber Al-Ahmad City, and the actual completion rates, which will contribute to raising the level and quality of services for the residents of the city and the surrounding areas.
