Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Integrity Enhancement Affairs, Counselor Jamal Al-Jalawi, will issue a decision to restore the powers of the Director-General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Ahmed Al-Mousa, reports Al-Qabas daily.
It is worth mentioning here that the powers of Al-Mousa were frozen last September, by a decision of the former Minister of Commerce and Industry, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The decision of the Minister of Justice will restore to Al-Mousa 15 powers as PAM general manager that were taken away from him including appointing and rotating senior officials, determining vacancies in supervisory positions, referring employees to retirement, dismissal from work, canceling disciplinary decisions, referring employees for investigations and concluding contracts and tenders.
Other powers include “signing contracts for fixed salaries for temporary employees, deciding cases of transfer and internal and external training, issuing decisions related to promotion with inevitable seniority, granting periodic increments, in addition to suspending employees from work during investigations.”
