National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim said on Tuesday MP Abdulkarim Al-Kanderi had filed a grilling motion against His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
Speaking to reporters at parliament, the speaker said the motion would be discussed in the following parliament session, and His Highness the Premier would be notified as per relevant regulations.
As per Article 135 of the National Assembly’s Statute, a query request against the prime minister or cabinet ministers shall be debated only eight days after filing it.
