Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, is moving in the direction of the replacement policy at Kuwait Municipality targeting engineering and technical jobs.
Al-Rai quoting sources indicated that Minister Al-Faris “is pushing to promote Kuwaitization and increase the presence of Kuwaiti engineers in the Municipality, especially at a time when the number and size of projects in the Municipality are increasing and seeks to implement and accomplish these projects soon and therefore there will be a tendency to study dispensing with expatriate engineers working in the municipality.”
