Customs men at the Air Cargo Department managed to seize a variety of narcotic substances, including marijuana, hallucinogenic pills and hashish oil, which were hidden in a postal parcel.
The Al-Jarida daily said, the air freight inspection and warehousing observer, Khaled Al-Houti, stated that the customs targeting team was able to seize a cocktail of drugs inside a postal parcel containing “personal effects” coming from an unidentified European country.
Hidden among the clothes were found 3 bags of narcotic marijuana were 60 hallucinogenic pills and 20 hashish oil ampoules.
The accused was arrested in cooperation with the Customs Research and Investigation Office and Drug Control, and he was referred with the seized items to the competent authorities.
Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Suleiman Al-Fahd, said that the fruitful cooperation between the General Administration of Customs, represented by the Research and Investigation Sector, and the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Drug Control Department.
