The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality has announced that a comprehensive inspection of municipal services within the Ahmadi Municipality branch was carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior.

This inspection covered the areas of Mahboula, Mangaf, and Fahaheel Industrial City. The primary objective of this joint effort was to ensure that markets and shops were adhering to the municipality’s set terms and regulations, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Saad Al Shaibah, the Acting Director of the Ahmadi Municipality Branch, elaborating on the inspection’s details said the Audit and Follow-up Department of the Municipal Services conducted a thorough on-site assessment in Mahboula and Al Mangaf regions, focusing on shops and advertisements.

As a result of this inspection, two health institutes were administratively closed due to their unauthorized usage, and two violations were issued in addition to an unlicensed car repair garage in the Fahaheel Industrial Area and a central market in Mangaf.

Al-Shaibah emphasized that the inspectorate team within the governorate remains committed to conducting continuous field inspections with the aim to monitor and address any breaches of the existing rules and regulations enforced by the municipality and said legal actions will be taken against violators in accordance with the law.

He further explained that these inspections align with the Kuwait Municipality’s strategy, guided by the directives of Saud Al-Dabbous, the Acting Director General of Kuwait Municipality.

These directives underscore the importance of enforcing and implementing municipal laws, regulations, and guidelines through intensified monitoring efforts carried out by the municipality’s teams in the field.
