The Health Insurance Controller, Dr. Adnan Al-Rasheed, announced the health insurance for retirees “Afiya-3”, became effective on Friday.
He explained that whoever received the new wellness card will have a new credit balance of 15,500 dinars, wishing everyone good health and wellness.
The Afiya 3 health insurance card provides all kinds of health services to all segments and categories of retirees at the expense of the state, through their use of the “Afiya” health insurance card.
The card includes a wide range of modern medical and treatment services, the most important of which are treatment of the knees and joints in general, the possibility of replacing natural joints with new artificial joints, prosthetic fittings, eye surgeries, chronic diseases (pressure, diabetes), prostate enlargement, oncology surgeries, cancer, cardiac catheterization, kidney stents and dental implants.
