The Council of Ministers has issued Decision No. 222/2023 regarding the registration and enrollment of Kuwaiti students at the Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates.
Article 1 stipulates that Abu Dhabi University be added to the list of higher education institutions mentioned in Academic Decision No. 32/2014, in which students are allowed to study in the United Arab Emirates in majors such as Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture and Public Health, reports Al-Rai daily.
Ministerial Resolution No. 243/2023 was also issued regarding stopping the registration and enrollment of Kuwaiti students in engineering majors at all university levels at The Catholic University of America in the United States.
This decision does not apply to the students who have already enrolled and are continuing their studies before the issuance of this decision; and students who have been accepted to study for the first semester of the academic for year 2023/2024 as a maximum.
In the same context, Ministerial Resolution No. 245/2023 was issued regarding the addition of the accounting and finance program to the programs of University College London in the United Kingdom.
