The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) said after a report was received at dawn today, stating that the Diwaniya of a house in Rumaithiya had caught fire, firefighting teams from Al-Bida and Salmiya centers rushed to the site and controlled the fire.
The Al-Rai daily quoting fire sources said one person was injured and he was handed over to the emergency medical personnel.
