The Ministry of Information recently formed a committee tasked with monitoring the performance of various electronic, audio, visual and written media during the upcoming parliamentary elections, Al-Qabas reported.
The source revealed to the newspaper that the committee is headed by Deputy Minister Munira Al-Huwaidi. While the members include directors of various departments in the ministry and representatives of four government agencies: the ministries of interior, transport, municipality, and the Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology.
