The Directorate General of Civil Aviation said today, Sunday 979 flights operated during the Eid Al-Adha holiday from July 15 to 24 at  Kuwait International Airport transporting 98,934 passengers, Al Qabas reported.

The Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Affairs and the official spokesperson for the administration, Saad Al-Otaibi, said in a press statement that the operating plan that was implemented during the Eid Al-Adha holiday was successful with the concerted efforts of all the government agencies.

Al-Otaibi added that 488 departing flights were operated during the Eid holiday, with a total of 64,236 passengers, while the number of incoming flights reached 491 flights, with a total of 34,698 passengers.

He stressed that all travel procedures at Kuwait Airport were per the requirements of health authorities.
