Today, Friday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced the registration of 976 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 182460, while 7 deaths were recorded, raising the total to 1034 cases. The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments has reached 148, bringing the total number of cases confirmed to have the disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 11100 cases.

Al-Sanad added that the number of swabs that were performed in the past 24 hours reached 10016, bringing the total to 1718097 tests, indicating that the rate of infections to the number of swabs during the past 24 hours was 9.7 percent.

The Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 920 infection cases had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 170,326 cases.
