The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 844 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 112,737 since the outbreak of the pandemic. 8 patients died, bringing the death toll to 672.
Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments has reached 143 cases, making the total confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 7557.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed in the past 24 hours reached 8055, bringing the total to 796760 tests.
Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 706 cases had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 104,508 cases.
