The Ministry of Health announced 805 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 90,387 while 2 deaths were reported raising the number fatalities to 546.
The ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that breakdown of infections according to areas: with 221 cases in Hawalli, 201 cases in Ahmadi, 155 cases in Farwaniya, 135 cases in Capital, and 93 cases in Al-Jahra.
The number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 90 cases, bringing the total number of all cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 8804 cases.
The number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours reached 4324, bringing the total to 648051 tests.
Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 516 infections had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 81,037 cases.
