The Central Agency for Public Tenders has referred tender papers for the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of Al-Subbiya ground water tanks of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, after opening 8 tender bids.
The Board of Directors of the Agency decided to refer the bids documents to the ministry for study and make the necessary recommendations in this regard within 30 days, reports a local Arabic daily.
The sources pointed out that the project aims to produce 30,000 kilowatts, to cover the needs of reservoirs and buildings on the renewable energy site, pointing out that this project comes for dedicated production and expansion of clean energy.
In a related context, CAPT referred 9 bids for electrical installation works for small businesses in the first geographical region in the governorates of Farwaniya, Jahra and the capital; to study and make the necessary recommendations within the period specified by the agency to select the winning company.
