The latest labor market statistics revealed that the total number of Kuwaiti females in the labor force reached 234,422, Al Qabas reported.
The statistics issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics on the labor market revealed that 79.3% of working Kuwaiti females are insured in the government sector.
The statistic also indicated that the percentage of insured women in the oil sector amounted to 0.1% of the total Kuwaiti women in the workforce, with only 255 female employees, while the percentage of insured women in the state-owned oil sector reached 1.2% of 2,800 female employees.
