The Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) received 71 reports in November, and the total number of reports in the past two years reached 774, Al Qabas daily reported.

The integrity report revealed that the total number of reports submitted until November, which provided evidence and met conditions to be registered in the communications inventory, rose to 159 reports, including 15 new cases.

According to the report, last November, eight directors of departments, 4 assistant secretaries of the Ministry, and directors of public bodies or institutions were listed in the complaints in November, in addition to two assistant directors of bodies.

The new complaints were submitted last November by 13 individuals and 3 government agencies, and most of them included corruption crimes, financial irregularities, and reparations.

In the same month, Nazaha referred one report to the Public Prosecution Office, and filed 21 other reports, while 88 cases are under study.

The corruption crimes monitored through the investigation detection department included a number of cases related to suspicions of corruption, 5 of them in each of the Agriculture Authority and the Ministry of Works, 3 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 7 in the Kuwait Municipality, and 15 in the Ministry of Health.
