The Ministry of Health announced 720 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 88,963 while 3 deaths was reported raising the number fatalities to 540. The Ministry’s spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the breakdown of infections according to health are as follows: 177 cases in the Hawalli, 169 cases in Ahmadi, 130 in Capital, 127 cases in Farwaniya, and 117 cases in Al-Jahra.
He added the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 91 cases, bringing the total number to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 8,520 cases. He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 4414, bringing the total to 640,634 tests. The Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 486 cases had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from the coronavirus to 79903 cases.
