A security campaign carried out by the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations in the Sulaibiya Industrial and Al-Dajeej areas resulted in the arrest of 72 violators of the residence law and those reported absconding by their sponsors.
Al-Rai quoting security authorities said the administration has warned everyone not to shelter or hire workers who are not under their sponsorship.
The general public has also been requested to cooperate with the security authorities and report violating workers by calling the emergency No 112 or the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations Department.
