The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced 717 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total infections to 31,848, while 10 deaths were reported raising the number fatalities to 264.
Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a press conference that the 717 infections included 331 Kuwaitis, 79 Indians, 88 Bangladeshis, 81 Egyptians and the rest of other nationalities.
Currently, there are 196 patients receiving treatment at intensive care wards, Dr. Al-Sanad revealed. Meanwhile, the health authorities conducted 3,661 swabs, in past 24 hours, raising whole count of such tests to 315,285, Dr. Al-Sanad added.
