The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 708 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 121,635 since the outbreak of the pandemic. 2 patients died, bringing the death toll to 746.
Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that there were 121 patients receiving treatment at the intensive care wards. Those still receiving treatment amounted to 8,118.
The health authorities conducted 5,496 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 876,250, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad added. Earlier, the ministry announced 661 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 112,771.
