The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 698 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 109,441 since the outbreak of the pandemic. 3 patients died, bringing the death toll to 642. Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the infection rate based on areas was as followed: 180 cases in Ahmadi, 161 in Hawalli , 130 in Farwaniya, 114 in Capital, and 113 in Al-Jahra.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 129 cases, bringing the total confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the medical care is 7,485 cases. He pointed out that the number of swabs that done during the past 24 hours amounted to 4120, bringing the total of tests to 772,811.
Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 538 infections had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (COVID-19) to 101,314 cases.
