The Ministry of Health announced 687 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 61,872, while 4 death was reported raising the number fatalities to 421.
Ministry spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care unit reached 124, bringing the total of all cases that have been diagnosed with (Covid-19) and still receiving the necessary medical care to 9,204 cases. The number of smears that were performed during the past 24 hours amounted to 3808 smears, for a total of 474,808 checks.
The Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 727 injuries have been cured during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cured Covid-19 cases to 52,247.
