The number of expatriates working in the public and private sectors 60 years and over is 68,000, including 40,380 aged between 60 and 64 and about 27,600 over 65 years of age.
Al-Anba quoting official figures said about 5,040 expatriates are over the age of 60 and they work in the government sector, including 3,643 aged between 60 and 64 years, and 1,397 others over 65 years old.
About 63,000 expatriates over the age of 60 work in the private sector, including 36,700 aged between 60 and 64, and 26,200 over the age of 65.
