The Ministry of Health announced 622 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 76,827 while 1 death were reported raising the number fatalities to 502.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the infections were broken down according to the health areas, with 168 cases in Ahmadi, 130 cases in Al-Jahra, 128 cases in Farwaniya, 100 cases in Hawalli, and 96 cases in Capital.
He indicated that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 109 cases, making the total cases that were confirmed to have (Covid-19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care, as 7692 cases.
He pointed out that the number of swabs that were performed in the past 24 hours reached 4334, bringing the total to 56,3134.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 498 cases had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries from (Covid-19) to 68,633 cases.
