The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 614 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 105,182 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country months ago.  Three patients died, bringing the death toll to 610.

Infections according to areas are: 119 in Hawally, 155 in Ahmadi, 97 in Farwaniya, 127 in the Capital, and 116 in Jahra, Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad stated to KUNA. There are 133 patients in the intensive care units while the number of people receiving treatment in hospitals was 7884, Al-Sanad added.

He added healthcare workers conducted 4436 swab tests in the past 24 hours to increase the total tests since the outbreak of the pandemic in Kuwait to 747,233. He called anew on citizens and residents to take all safety precautions like social distancing in order to prevent the virus from spreading. The MoH announced earlier the recovery of 639 people to increase recoveries to 96,688.
