The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 589 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 125,926 since the outbreak of the pandemic. 6 patients died, bringing the death toll to 779.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in the ICU reached 110 cases, making the total of all (Covid 19) cases still receiving the necessary medical care to 8,285 cases.
Al-Sanad indicated that the number of swabs done during the past 24 hours amounted to 5171, bringing the total to 916525 tests.
The Ministry of Health announced earlier in the day that 660 infections had recovered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 116862.
