A recent statistic issued by the Central Administration of Statistics show at the end of December 2021 the total number of expatriates over 60 years of age working in the government sector was 5,760, of whom 1,806 are over 65 years old.

In the same context, the statistics show the number of residents over 60 years old in the private sector labor market decreased by 6,226 from about 75,460 at the end of 2020 to 69,232 by the end of 2021, reports a local Arabic daily.
