Sources pointed to nearly 50 percent decline in the appointment of expatriates in oil sector during the last fiscal year compared to the previous year.

The same sources disclosed the appointment of expatriates in oil sector witnessed a decline from 345 during fiscal year 2018/2019 to 190 compared to fiscal year 2017/2018.

They asserted the significance of resorting to the expatriate experience because they’re the main element in oil industry as per the standards of operation in all global companies, and despite the decline in their appointment, oil sector can’t do without them.

They reaffirmed that leadership in oil sector can’t overlook the experiences of workers in specialized operations or functional requirements for operating specific equipment in complicated projects.
