Monday evening firefighters rescued 5 women who were trapped in a mosque elevator in the Salmiya region.
According to a report received by the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department the elevator stopped because of a malfunction and firemen rushed to the mosque and moved the women to safety, reports Al-Rai daily.
No injuries were reported.
