Five Kuwaiti designers and architects have achieved a significant milestone for Kuwait, securing places among the top creative talents in the realms of design, decoration, and architecture.

Mishari Al-Nassar, Jassim Al-Sadah, Khaled Al-Awadi, Nasser Abu Al-Hassan, and Rawan Maqadas have been recognized in the prestigious “AD 100” list for the Middle East and Africa in 2024, reports Al-Rai daily.

This accolade is organized by the American international design company “Architectural Digest,” a part of the “Condé Nast” portfolio specializing in design, culture, and luxury lifestyle.

Each of these individuals has earned a spot in the top 100 list through their distinctive designs, competing with the best talents in interior decoration, architecture, and product design. Their inclusion in this list showcases their exceptional contributions, setting new standards in design innovation across the Middle East and Africa.

Expressing his thoughts, Mishari Al-Nassar stated to Al-Rai, “It is important for us as Kuwaitis to be evaluated by a global authority and to be included in the TOP 100. Achieving something on a global level, not just locally, is heartwarming, especially considering the abundance of talent in Kuwait that deserves this recognition.” He emphasized the significance of competing with over 200 companies across the Middle East and Africa.

Al-Nassar, along with Al-Sadah, Al-Awadi, Abu Al-Hassan, and Maqadas, represented their respective companies — Studio Meshary AlNassar, Babnimnim, Fortytwelve, AGi, and MA Studio — in the TOP 100 list, contributing to Kuwait’s growing presence on the global design stage.
