The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced that citizens would not be allowed to travel unless they have been vaccinated with an approved vaccine. Although this rule has some exemptions, Al-Rai reported.

As per the DGCA instruction, Kuwaiti citizen and the first degree relatives are not allowed to travel unless they are vaccinated except-

1. Those who were unable to receive the vaccine due to health reasons

2.Age groups not subject to vaccination

3. Pregnant women

4. Students studying abroad

5. Diplomatic missions

The DGCA also announced the end of the quarantine for arrivals vaccinated against Coronavirus, those whose first dose has passed two weeks, and those who have recovered from Covid-19,  provided that one PCR negative result is uploaded on the Kuwait Musafir App.

A 72-hour PCR certificate for all passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport must be presented before boarding the plane, regardless of the vaccination status of the passenger.
