The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 485 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 138,822, since the outbreak of the pandemic. 2 patients died, bringing the death toll to 859.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving treatment in ICU has reached 94 cases, making the total confirmed to have (Covid 19) disease and still receiving the necessary medical care to 7537 cases.
Al-Sanad pointed out that the number of swabs conducted in the past 24 hours was 6758, bringing the total to 1035985 tests. Ministry of Health announced earlier today 587 cases had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 130,426.
