Ministry of Health declared on Monday recording 467 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), during the last 24 hours, raising the caseload to 158,244. The ministry official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a statement to KUNA that there was a single death during the same period, putting the death toll at 948.
There are currently 56 patients at ICUs with the whole number of the cases of proven infection and remaining under treatment standing at 5,800. The authorities conducted over the past 24 hours up to 8,807 swab tests with an overall count of such examinations amounting to 1.406,352.
