The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 452 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 138,337, since the outbreak of the pandemic. 9 patients died, bringing the death toll to 857.
Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that there were 105 patients receiving treatment at the intensive care wards. Those still receiving treatment totaled 7,641. The health authorities conducted 6,068 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising the whole count to 1,029,227. Earlier, the ministry announced 798 people recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 129,839.
