Four employees of the Ministry of Interior and the Customs Administration have been sentenced to prison by the Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Abdullah Al-Othman, on charges related to the forgery of the ministry’s electronic record and assisting individuals with travel prohibitions to escape the country. Al Anbaa newspaper’s report added that the verdict also included the dismissal of the employees from their jobs.
In addition, the eight individuals of unspecified nationality, who managed to cross the Salmi port despite being banned from traveling, were sentenced in absentia to six months of imprisonment with labor and enforcement.
