Security forces closed down four liquor manufacturing facilities in some areas in Farwaniya and Ahmadi, and arrested the managers of the business. Similarly, the campaign resulted to the arrest of 39 absconders and residency violators in a security campaign carried out on Wednesday in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant -General Anwar Al –Barjas,
The Arabic source also reported the checkpoints conducted in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Khaitan, which resulted to the arrest of 17 expats with absconding cases, 15 with expired residencies, a stolen vehicle, a death row prisoner, a drunkard, and a street vendor. In addition, at least seven residency violators were arrested in Ahmadi.
