Official data issued by the Precious Metals Department at the Ministry of Trade and Industry shows the activity of selling and trading in precious metals and gemstones is witnessing an increasing expansion during the last period.
The figures showed about 36 new gold companies have entered the market during the first 3 months of 2022 to import precious artifacts. This is in addition to 6 new local workshops were registered during the same period which are specialized in manufacturing and shaping precious metals and handicrafts of all kinds.
