Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah revealed that 322,000 people were vaccinated in Kuwait, and also talked about the results of the vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus, including that citizens and expats of 65 years of age and over were vaccinated, who were registered in the system to receive the vaccine, Al Qabas daily reported.
The Health Minister informed the Council of Ministers at the weekly meeting that listened to an explanation provided by the Health Minister on the latest developments related to the Coronavirus epidemic, at the regional and international levels.
This was in addition to the developments of the health situation in the country based on data and statistics on the number of infection cases and deaths and those receiving treatment in intensive care, which is still witnessing an increase with the decline in the recovery rate. Also, the percentage of positive results is high compared to the number of surveys, which is a dangerous indicator that reveals a rapid spread of the infection.
